A week late but still going strong –

 May 15, 2017

First off – happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there. We owe our lives to you – literally.  Thank you!

The reason I missed last week? I switched schedules with a coworker, giving up last Sunday so he could have it off. That kind of threw my whole week out of whack and no post last week.

So, what have I been up to?  Writing wise – a bit. I’m still working on building out my world bible for the Urban Fantasy series. I’m still revising my second short story, though I guess now it’s bordering on Novel form.  I’m up to 45123 words on it.

I’ve managed to fix one of the things I really disliked about a scene in the first draft. I did however run into something I didn’t like how the story progressed. I’ve nixed that and have been rewriting that particular scene, which has caused me to have to add two chapters to bring me back to where I need to be.

For the record any outline I have is fluid and a living document. It is in no way, shape, or form set in stone. The good news is that I’ve seriously hashed out some good stuff, I’m just in the process of getting it typed out!

I plan to write my first book review. I won a Twitter drawing for a local author and can’t wait to read the book and write it. I feel special for actually winning something!

Since I’ve finished the first revision of my first story I’m looking for a little feedback. Anyone who is interested in Beta Reading  please email me or PM me on Facebook. I’ll share the Google Drive folder and what I’m looking for. It’s scary as hell to think about sharing with people but I gotta do it.

As always please post any comments or feedback below!
